The
Vietnam Customs Statistics announced that in the second half (16-31/01/2021) of
January-2021 , Vietnam’s total exports
of US dollars 15.5 billion and imports of US
dollars 13.2 billion resulted in a trade surplus of US dollars 2.37 billion.
Accordingly, the total value of export and import turnover of Vietnam in the second
half of January-2021 was US dollars 28.77 billion, up by 10.4% as compared to
the first half of this month.
Vietnam‘s
trade-in-goods in the first month of 2021 totaled US dollars 55 billion in
value terms. It posted a increase of 48.2% (equivalent to USD 17.88 billion) from
the same period of previous year. In
which, the total merchandise exports value was up by 55.1% to US dollars 28.55
billion and the total merchandise imports value was up 41.3%, to US dollars 26.46
billion.
In
the view of FDI traders, the value of exportation in the second
half of January reached nearly USD 11.68 billion, up by 18.5% and the value of
importation reached 8.61 billion, down by 3.2% as compared to the first half of
January-2021. Therefore, in January of 2021, the total value of FDI merchandise
trade went up by 60.1% to US dollar 39.16 billion.
Export:
When
compared with the first half of January-2021, export of second half of January increased
by 20.6%, mostly as a result of the upturn registered in computer electrical product
( up by 28.5% - 485 million); telephones, mobile phones and part thereofs (up
by 13.1% - USD 375 million); machine, tools and equipments (up by 23.8% - USD 345
million); iron and steels (up by 138.1% - USD 255 million); …

In
the second half of January-2021, import increased by 0.4 % when compared with the
first half of January-2021, mainly reflecting the upturn in computer electrical
product ( up by 7.2% - 197 million); ores and mineral products (up by 86.2 % -
