On 01 Feb 2018, the General Department of Customs launched additional 42 administrative procedures on the public online service system at https://pus.customs.gov.vn.
As the result, 170/180 administrative procedures in customs field are provided at minimum level 3 through IT systems of the General Department of Customs including VNACCS/VCIS, e-payment Gateway, National single window and public online service system.
In order to implement the Resolution 36a/NQ-CP on e-Government, on 01 Mar 2017, the Customs Department provided public online service system at minimum level 3 for additional 41 administrative procedures.
According to the Decision no.2151/QD-TCHQ promulgating the plans for the provision of public online service system, the General Department of Customs has upgraded technical infrastructure, applied IT development and officially deployed additional 42 administrative procedures from 01 February 2018.
Compared with the previous version, the upgraded system has added utility for users. Accordingly, the system has Android, iOS application on smartphone that allows the applicants to receive notifications and track status of records.
Specifically, only the applicants can know whether the dossier has been released, whether it is being processed or the dossier has been forwarded to a customs office via smartphone.
The implementation of administrative procedures by electronic r educes the direct contact between enterprises and customs officers. In addition, by upgrading the system, the applicants can track status of the profile for activities of the enterprise by the smartphones.
Since the official implementation, the public online system operates smoothly, promptly processing services of individuals, enterprises as well as customs to implement administrative procedures. Some problems related to the account, the system manual are promptly supported by the help-desk of the General Department of Customs.
In 2018, the customs office will continue to implement new administrative procedures while increasing the utility of the IT system, creating the most favorable for customs declarants and tax payers.
