| Hi, We are organizing a bachelor party in Vietnam. We intend to export a few bottles of rum from Guatemala. The alcohol percentage is below 40% by volume. 750ml bottles. We intend to bring in 100 bottles for all the guests and family.What are the different types of taxes I have to pay? And how much is the accumulated tax? Is Air freight allowed again? Or is the restriction still in place?

| My friend post me a parcel on 28/12/11.Based on the record of EMS office in HCMC,the parcel already received 30/12/11. However until today, 6/1/12, i haven't received my parcel yet.The EMS Office said the parcel is being hold for custom inspection and they can only deliver the parcel once released. | I work for the Integrated Database Section in WTO. The IDB contains WTO Members' annual notifications on tariff and trade information, linked at the level of tariff lines. By exploring your website, I have found Vietnam customs tariff schedule for 2010 under: " Importers » How to import » Taxation". This customs tariff schedule corresponds to what we include in the integrated database: national tariff lines with descriptions, MFN duty rates and preferential rates. However, the format available online is "pdf" and is only downloadable chapter by chapter. I would be grateful if you could send me this tariff schedule on one file containing all HS chapters, and if available in another format than "pdf" (Excel or text or database format). Furthermore, Viet Nam's tariff schedule for 2011 is missing in our database. It would be very much appreciated if you could send me the customs tariff schedule for 2011 as well. | I would like to know what my import cost would be for bringing 10 iPhone 4 16 GB in to Vietnam from America. They are gifts for teammates of mine but I am assuming i will still have to pay the import tax because they are worth over 1 million VND. How much is the Tax on these items. They are all Used or refurbished iPhones that are all over 7 months old. |

I want to know how much euros could I bring to Vietnam for my 2 months holidays. Is it maximum 5000 or 10000 euro? There are no answer on the Internet at all about this. And can I bring 1 or 2 bottles of wines into Vietnam? Waiting for your reply.

I am a traveller in Vietnam and forgot my camera in Australia. I had my father send it to me on 15th December by registered Australia Post. The camera was sent to my friend Tricia in Ho Chi Minh City at the above address. My father checked with Australia Post today and they informed him that the package arrived at Ho Chi Minh City Airport on Saturday 17th December. The registered post number for the package is: RQ 031808438AU. Could you please find out for me where the package is as I am stuck here waiting for it! | Hello, I sent two packages from Japan's Narita Airport to my address in Ho Chi Minh City when I was flying to Vietnam, and I have not received them yet. The shipment date was September the 14th of this year, and according to the Japanese post office online system, they have been in Vietnamese customs since October the 13th of this year. The day I am writing this inquiry is the 20th of December, over two months after the packages entered Vietnamese customs, and I would like to know where they are and why they have been held up for so long without any notice to the addressed recipient. The postal item numbers from the packages are as follows:
