The Government of Vietnam has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the following individual consultant contract of International Consultant on Performance Indicators.
The objective of this assignment is to develop an indicator system allowing General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of day to day operations at each levels of Customs administration base on modern customs requirements.
The assignment calls for an international specialist with a background and knowledge of performance management techniques, development of indicators and analysis. The consultant will be contracted with full-time. Total inputs provided by the selected consultant to the GDVC are 03 person-months.
The Vietnam Customs Modernization Project now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (curriculum vitae), description of similar assignments, experience in similar condition, work undertaken which best illustrates capability to carry out the assignment, etc).
An individual consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, dated May 2004.
